Mercedes Seara

Specialist in people development, with more than 20 years of experience and training in leadership and management of people centered projects in the public and private sector as well as in social organizations.

Because of her training in education sciences, during her life she became close to different learning dimensions in various fields.

She believes that human development is the main growth capital for a person itself, organizations and society.

Professor of Education Sciences (UCA), she also holds Masters Degrees in Business Management (UCA) and Social Responsibility (San Andrés). She then earned her Ontological coach certificate from “Escuela Newfield Chile” (Chile).

Her training and experience are focused on people and organizations’ education and learning. She began her career in formal education environments to continue developing within companies, in Telefonica, as leader in the field of Technological Education in Human Resources, where she designed and implemented learning strategies to face cultural transformational challenges within the company and its different levels.

Motivated by organizations and people’s sustainable development, she continued her training and career within the field of corporate social responsibility in “Fundación Telefónica”, leading comprehensive and sustainable initiatives for communities, aligned with the business and its goals. She became a member of the company’s strategy’s transformation in social  responsibility’s committee and coordinated the growth programs focused on culture and education. 

In public management she lead social and learning programs focused on the comprehensive health of the elderly (PAMI)

She attended “Escuela Newfield Network” where she became an ontological coach in order to address people and organizations´ learning dimensions in a more organic and sustainable way. 

Since 2009 she has been an independent consultant, she facilitates personal and professional self-knowledge workshops for empowering, she designs learning experiences together with other organizations and develops courses on teaching skills. 

Mercedes describes herself as a curious and scholarly woman. She has got a passion for traveling, the sea, cycling and painting. She loves reading and writing stories about inspiration and resilience.
